Kat Kelly is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with over two decades of experience providing behavior intervention development and consultation services in homes, clinics, and schools for individuals with developmental and behavioral disabilities such as autism, intellectual disability, and attention deficit/hyperactive disorder. Kat also provides a wide range of trainings, workshops, and behavioral consultation services for children, adolescents, & adults, as well infants and toddlers who are at-risk due to language delays or delays in meeting developmental milestones. Kat was previously an instructor for an online distance-learning course designed to teach parents and professionals how to develop and implement effective language-based intervention programs based on B.F. Skinner’s analysis of Verbal Behavior. She has also been an adjunct professor for the Applied Behavior Analysis graduate programs at California State University, Los Angeles and The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. In addition, she has collaborated on several research projects, presented at numerous professional conferences throughout the United States, and has co-authored an article, “A behavioral approach to teaching language: What it is and why it’s useful” in the Autism Advocate.
Kat received her master’s degree in counseling with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) from California State University, Los Angeles and completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology from College of Mount Saint Vincent in Riverdale, NY.

Interventions are based on decades of research from the field of applied behavior analysis and the principles of learning theory and are individualized to meet the unique needs of each client. Emphasis is placed on a collaborative approach to treatment development and empowering the individual client, caregivers, and/or teachers by providing training on the implementation of effective behavior management and teaching strategies to produce significant and lasting behavior change.
Initial consultation services focus on the identification of caregiver/client goals, assessment, and the development of an individualized treatment plan to facilitate goal attainment.
